Support and treatment of obesity in Greater Manchester

Important: At present, tirzepatide (Mounjaro) is not available for prescribing in any setting in Greater Manchester for weight management. A further update will be issued at the end of June 2025.

  • NHS Digital Weight Management ProgrammeThis offers online access to weight management plans to those living with obesity who also have a diagnosis of diabetes, or hypertension, or both. With three levels of support and a choice of providers, it is designed to offer patients a personalised level of support to help them to manage their weight.

Why you should get your free Healthy Start vitamins

Junior parkrun - where everyone is welcome. Junior parkrun is a free, fun, friendly, weekly community event organised by volunteers of all ages for children aged 4-14. 2k junior parkrun events take place on Sunday mornings and are for the whole community to come together to walk, jog, run or volunteer.
